The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Celli got free with Alfredo Volponi in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Borgo Di Ronta AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 15 played minutes Cassanigo FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Bosco. The supporters of Cassanigo FC booed when Borgo Di Ronta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Luciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Fulvio Di Florio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Volponi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Concetto Battista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Luciani in the 26th minute of play. The wind increased when Christian Luciani made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulvio Di Florio in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Volponi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Celli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Concetto Battista managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Borgo Di Ronta AFC's Domenico Piscopo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Domenico Piscopos short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Concetto Battista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 75 minutes into the match, Cassanigo FC's Fulvio Di Florio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Volponi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex Celli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Volponi having to interfere. Christian Luciani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Concetto Battista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st play minute Domenico Piscopo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Concetto Battista. 0-3. In the 86th minute, Claudio Di Silvio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Luciani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Borgo Di Ronta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Polo came free, but Alfredo Volponi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Borgo Di Ronta AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
