Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Cassanigo FC's goalkeeper Concetto Battista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Pallini. 7 minutes into the match, Cassanigo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Buonanno came free, but Concetto Battista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Di Silvio kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Arturo Pallini came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Concetto Battista could save by the left post. Concetto Battista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Baresi in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damiano Baresi in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Concetto Battista saved Cassanigo FC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Tignamica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Di Florio came free, but Alex Santacroce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damiano Baresi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Battista having to interfere. Alex Celli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Santacroce having to interfere. Cassanigo FC's Concetto Battista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Baresi in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Arturo Pallini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Concetto Battista was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alberto Egidi charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Egidi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Santacroce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Celli in the 37th minute of play. Alex Celli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alex Santacroce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Pallini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Damiano Baresi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Concetto Battista, 2-0. When Fulvio Di Florio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cassanigo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulvio Di Florio couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damiano Baresi to make the kick off. Arturo Pallini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Damiano Baresi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tignamica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damiano Baresi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cassanigo FC's Claudio Di Silvio got a free kick in the 59th minute. Damiano Baresi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Concetto Battista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, one of Cassanigo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fulvio Di Florio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tignamica FC were furious when Alberto Mazzone was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Alex Santacroce made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Alex Celli sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 96 minutes, Fulvio Di Florio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cassanigo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulvio Di Florio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tignamica FC had won after a very even match.
