A collision led to Barisano getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Damiano Di Camillo hit a great ball. Edoardo Graziani took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvise Spitaleri. Alvise Spitaleri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ercole Rosini might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Vulcano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ercole Rosini ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvise Spitaleri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Pavlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Barisano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano Di Camillo to maneuver through the defense. Christian Vulcano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Barisano's Davide Giordano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Edoardo Graziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Spitaleri having to interfere. A collision led to Barisano getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Corrado Mazzocchi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Edoardo Graziani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formigosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Edoardo Graziani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvise Spitaleri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Formigosa's goalkeeper Christian Vulcano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davide Giordano. Dino Federici kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Formigosa's Edoardo Graziani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvise Spitaleri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Pavlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Formigosa booed when Barisano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Federici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvise Spitaleri made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Edoardo Graziani sent off a good shot on target. Edoardo Graziani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Barisano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Federici to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Giordano in the 77th minute of play forced Formigosa's goalkeeper Christian Vulcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Formigosa's Edoardo Graziani came free and shot a quick shot against goal 79 minutes in the game, fortunately Alvise Spitaleri had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Christian Vulcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Rosini in the 83rd minute of the match. Christian Vulcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Giordano in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Barisano's goalkeeper Alvise Spitaleri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edoardo Graziani. Alvise Spitaleri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Pavlu in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Formigosa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
