An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Andreoli in the 9th minute of play forced Torre A Mare's goalkeeper Alberigo Mammarella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Scarano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes, Torre A Mare's Ferruccio Bellone shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filippo Zarillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Torre A Mare reached it. In the 15th minute, Damiano Micarelli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Filippo Zarillo, passed just outside the right post. Damiano Micarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Filippo Zarillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Caltana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Tabacchi. A collision led to Torre A Mare getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ferruccio Bellone hit a great ball. Emiliano Aureli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberigo Mammarella. Torre A Mare's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Torre A Mare's Fabiano Scarano got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Caltana AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Spinelli to maneuver through the defense. Fabiano Scarano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Zarillo having to interfere. Federico Nazzari kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Alberigo Mammarella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Miconi in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Davide Andreoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caltana AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Andreoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Miconi was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Caltana AFC defense, Fabiano Scarano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filippo Zarillo. The Caltana AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filippo Zarillo should have stopped the shot. Davide Andreoli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alberigo Mammarella firmly grabbed it by the left post. Diego Miconi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Mammarella having to interfere. If Davide Andreoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberigo Mammarella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Miconi in the 68th minute of play. If Damiano Micarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Micarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Zarillo having to interfere. Torre A Mare's Alberigo Mammarella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Miconi in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Torre A Mare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Pavlu to maneuver through the defense. Diego Miconi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alberigo Mammarella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Caltana AFC's zone, Damiano Micarelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Zarillo came out of the goal and Damiano Micarelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Damiano Micarelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torre A Mare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caltana AFC the free kick. After 86 played minutes Torre A Mare got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Micarelli. Filippo Zarillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Scarano, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 92 played minutes Torre A Mare got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Micarelli.
