The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Carlo Perilli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Bracco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dennis Bracco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Madonna in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Perilli got free with Dennis Bracco in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugenio Guidoni struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Anthony Di Lullo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marocco AFC. Dennis Bracco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Madonna in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Perilli got free with Dennis Bracco in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Marocco AFC's Biagio Bellisario got a free kick in the 44th minute. Dave Passalacqua kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Rolo's Claudio Corvasce got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When Ercole Zara fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rolo's protests and gave Ercole Zara a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Marocco AFC booed when Rolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Zara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes, Marocco AFC's Cristoforo Mastronardi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anthony Di Lullo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marocco AFC reached it. Dennis Bracco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Madonna, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Carlo Perilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Bellisario charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Biagio Bellisario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Marocco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Bellisario. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Perilli in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Bracco saved Marocco AFC from getting behind. Dennis Bracco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Perilli, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alexander Madonna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rolo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Carlo Perilli hit a great ball. Ferdinando Motta's late challenge caught a Rolo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinando Motta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rolo booed when Marocco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eugenio Guidoni came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Marocco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Guidoni couldn't finish the play. Alexander Madonna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dennis Bracco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
