Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alfonso Pace took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Andreassi. Frank Andreassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Anfilogino Nanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Ascoli in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Valle Violata's Antonello Di Filippo got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes, Anselmo Farese mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valle Violata and the Corticella players grew even worse after the yellow card. Augusto Patrizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anselmo Farese was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. In the 26th minute Emanuele Fanfarone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Nanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Saturno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Patrizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Frank Andreassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Augusto Patrizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Antonello Di Filippo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Pace's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Frank Andreassi firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 43rd minute, Corticella's Amerigo Bertoni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuele Fanfarone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Patrizi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Andreassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Corticella's Anfilogino Nanni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Corticella from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Valle Violata's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Saturno came free, but Frank Andreassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfonso Pace had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Augusto Patrizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 70th minute of the match Antonello Di Filippo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Antonello Di Filippo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Valle Violata's Antonello Di Filippo got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Pace in the 72nd minute of play forced Valle Violata's goalkeeper Frank Andreassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Augusto Patrizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Carmine Ascoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Augusto Patrizi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corticella's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Patrizi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Andreassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bianco Pellicciotta hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Corticella booed when Valle Violata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Orlandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Corticella fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valle Violata had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
