If Anthony Forte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Mazzocco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessio Negrini having to make a save. In the 7th minute, Comunardo Furino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Mazzocco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alessio Negrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lesmo's Alessio Negrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Mazzocco in the 10th minute of play. Camillo Cavallucci charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camillo Cavallucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Camillo Cavallucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthony Forte got free with Eraldo Foddis in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Alex Raimondi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes, Muggiano AFC's Alvise Di Prinzio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alessio Negrini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Muggiano AFC reached it. Fabiano Massimini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Negrini having to interfere. Anthony Forte kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Lesmo got a freekick which was hit by Alex Raimondi. Muggiano AFC's Eraldo Foddis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Di Silvio in the 33rd minute of play. Comunardo Furino's late challenge caught a Muggiano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comunardo Furino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Muggiano AFC booed when Lesmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Furino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lesmo's Alessio Negrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Mazzocco in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabiano Mazzocco was the one to do the kick off. Alessio Negrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Mazzocco, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Fabiano Mazzocco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Negrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Alex Raimondi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lesmo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muggiano AFC the free kick. The supporters of Muggiano AFC booed when Lesmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Raimondi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvise Di Prinzio hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Lesmo's Fortunato Bonanni tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 76thth minute of the game Comunardo Di Silvio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muggiano AFC's Eraldo Foddis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Camillo Cavallucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Fabiano Massimini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muggiano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Massimini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessio Negrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Fabiano Massimini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lesmo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabiano Mazzocco 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. The Muggiano AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
