After 13 played minutes Trevignano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Fantini. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Gallo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felice Frezza saved Trevignano AFC from getting behind. Franco Farina was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Andrea Mussi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Farina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Farina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Trevignano AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felice Di Giovanni fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Franco Farina took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrea Mussi. Andrea Mussi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Trevignano AFC booed when Sacconago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Orrore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Franco Farina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacconago's Andrea Mussi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 85 played minutes Sacconago got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Gallo. In the 91st minute Franco Farina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Mussi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Trevignano AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sacconago's performance. The match ended with a win for Sacconago.
