Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernesto Ranieri kicked off to start the match. After 12 played minutes Casticciano FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Aversa. Fortunato Pietrantoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florian Cicchini in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Ranieri in the 22nd minute of play forced Cantonazzo FC's goalkeeper Arrigo Del Grosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Concetto Masciarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Cantonazzo FC's Concetto Masciarelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fortunato Pietrantoni. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. 40 minutes into the game, Emilio Di Giulio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casticciano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cantonazzo FC the free kick. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Casticciano FC! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Concetto Masciarelli to strike the kick off in the second half. If Concetto Masciarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casticciano FC's Fortunato Pietrantoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Masciarelli in the 57th minute of play. Augusto Leggeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Cicchini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Concetto Masciarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Pietrantoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Casticciano FC's Emilio Fantozzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arrigo Del Grosso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Cantonazzo FC's Arrigo Del Grosso got control of the ball when Emilio Fantozzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Masciarelli in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Pietrantoni saved Casticciano FC from getting behind. Casticciano FC's Ernesto Ranieri got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emilio Fantozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cantonazzo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Casticciano FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
