Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernesto Ranieri kicked off to start the match. Cesare Punta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Ranieri's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. If Ernesto Ranieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Gerosa hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Damiano Gerosa charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damiano Gerosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Damiano Gerosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Di Giulio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cesare Punta. Tavernola AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute, Alexander Pasinati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th match minute Felice De Sanctis ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Fortunato Pietrantoni. 1-0. In the 19th minute, Cesare Monti made a precise shot to the right of Fortunato Pietrantoni. Casticciano FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 23rd match minute, Casticciano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Aversa to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Ranieri in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesare Punta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Ranieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cesare Punta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Ranieri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesare Punta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Tavernola AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Damiano Gerosa hit a great ball. Cesare Punta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Ranieri in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Casticciano FC booed when Tavernola AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Lucente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesare Monti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Pietrantoni having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Flavio Volta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tavernola AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Volta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Pietrantoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesare Monti to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tavernola AFC's Flavio Volta in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Casticciano FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ernesto Ranieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Emilio Fantozzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesare Monti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Casticciano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Aversa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 59 minutes, Flavio Volta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tavernola AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Volta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Flavio Volta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Pietrantoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Volta struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Fortunato Pietrantoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tavernola AFC. Fortunato Pietrantoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Monti, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Emilio Fantozzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Punta having to interfere. Flavio Volta took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fortunato Pietrantoni. Fortunato Pietrantoni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Cesare Monti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Volta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Pietrantoni having to interfere. Tavernola AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
