Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anfilogino Iovine took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Anfilogino Iovine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Muciaccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Signayes AFC's Alessio Grassi in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mamago FC's goalie prevented a goal. Attilio Vaiani's late challenge caught a Mamago FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attilio Vaiani helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Signayes AFC's Attilio Vaiani got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Armando Selvaggi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Di Cesare struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Fabio Muciaccia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamago FC. Armando Selvaggi came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabio Muciaccia could save by the left post. A collision led to Mamago FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Concetto Palmieri hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Ferdinando Orsi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Comunardo Anzolin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Armando Selvaggi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Muciaccia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Alessio Grassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Attilio Vaiani hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Carter Di Fiore hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Ferdinando Orsi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Comunardo Anzolin skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Armando Selvaggi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Muciaccia. Signayes AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Selvaggi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 43 played minutes Mamago FC got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Toto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Grassi in the 44th minute of play forced Mamago FC's goalkeeper Comunardo Anzolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessio Grassi was the one to do the kick off. The tension between the Signayes AFC and the Mamago FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Carter Guidoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Concetto Palmieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Selvaggi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Muciaccia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Alessio Grassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alessio Grassi came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Signayes AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessio Grassi couldn't finish the play. Alessio Grassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Comunardo Anzolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
