Davide Mei charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Amedeo Lalli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Villa San Giuseppe getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Claudio Rossi hit a great ball. Filippo Oberrauch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Maranzano in the 15th minute of the match. Augusto Maranzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Filippo Oberrauch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Birandola's goalkeeper Filippo Oberrauch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Augusto Maranzano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filippo Oberrauch was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Villa San Giuseppe's Emilio Di Dio got control of the ball when Alfonso Donadoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villa San Giuseppe's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Concetto Orioli 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Alfonso Donadoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Di Dio having to interfere. Villa San Giuseppe's Emilio Di Dio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Villa San Giuseppe from getting a goal against them. Filippo Oberrauch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Maranzano went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Christian Bondi in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emilio Di Dio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Davide Mei kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Christian Bondi made the kick off in the second half. Damiano Rainaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Filippo Oberrauch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concetto Orioli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Di Dio having to interfere. Christian Bondi struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Emilio Di Dio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birandola. If Amedeo Lalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amedeo Lalli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Filippo Oberrauch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute of the match Antonello Bianchini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filippo Oberrauch skillfully saved the ball. Augusto Maranzano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filippo Oberrauch came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Maranzano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 85th minute.
