Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Voltri's Amos Latini started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Amos De Vincentis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Corrado Fracassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Voltri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cogliate FC the free kick. Eraldo Chitarroni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Felice Busillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Amos De Vincentis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Voltri's Eraldo Chitarroni in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cogliate FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fedele Collovati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alfonso Cimino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achille Di Cristofaro hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Amos Latini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Busillo having to interfere. Felice Busillo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Voltri's Amos Latini. But to his dismay, Amos Latini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fedele Collovati was the one to do the kick off. Alfonso Cimino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos De Vincentis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Dario Mingione kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Voltri's zone, Fedele Collovati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Cimino came out of the goal and Fedele Collovati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cogliate FC booed when Voltri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Serantoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fedele Collovati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Collovati in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Cimino saved Voltri from getting behind. In the 83rd minute of the match, Eraldo Chitarroni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felice Busillo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Alfonso Biavati fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cogliate FC's protests and gave Alfonso Biavati a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cogliate FC's Alfonso Biavati got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, Eraldo Chitarroni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felice Busillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedele Collovati in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Cimino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94thth minute of the game Fedele Collovati who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Voltri's Alfonso Cimino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Voltri walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
