After 6 played minutes Meda FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Canzano. The audience was convinced that Bianco Barchiesi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beppe Giardini was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Alberigo Trabucco struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Beppe Giardini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brandizzo AFC. If Arturo Gualtieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Brandizzo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Gazza came free, but Camillo Guarrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Alberigo Trabucco made a precise shot to the right of Beppe Giardini. Meda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Barchiesi in the 31st minute of play forced Meda FC's goalkeeper Beppe Giardini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvise Gazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bianco Barchiesi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beppe Giardini. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvise Gazza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 56 in the game by Arturo Gualtieri from a close distance when the talented Camillo Guarrera managed to make a qualified save. Brandizzo AFC's players were relieved. With splendid footwork Arturo Gualtieri arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 56th minute. Andrea Briano kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Alvise Gazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Camillo Guarrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Gualtieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Guarrera having to interfere. Beppe Giardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bianco Barchiesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Brandizzo AFC booed when Meda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Sammartino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Guarrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Gazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Gualtieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Camillo Guarrera made a huge save. Arturo Gualtieri came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Camillo Guarrera could save by the left post. Federico Corrente hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Alvise Gazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Flavio Canzano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th match minute, Meda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Gualtieri to maneuver through the defense. In the 86thth minute of the game Alberigo Trabucco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meda FC's Beppe Giardini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Bianco Barchiesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bianco Barchiesi struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Beppe Giardini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brandizzo AFC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brandizzo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Meda FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
