Andrea Salerno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Salerni in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Bernardo Miconi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrea Abete was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrea Abete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute Adriano Meo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Abete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Adriano Meo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
