Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fabiano Aversano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Flavio Catini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Flavio Catini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Caracciolo was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Francesco Vinciguerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Carbonate booed when Mezzano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Mingione didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mezzano AFC's zone, Francesco Vinciguerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Colasante came out of the goal and Francesco Vinciguerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuele De Laurentiis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Caracciolo having to interfere. Flavio Catini struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Emiliano Caracciolo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mezzano AFC. In the 35th minute Francesco Vinciguerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Colasante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Uguccioni kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mezzano AFC's Flavio Catini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emiliano Caracciolo. That made the score 1-0 after 42 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the match, Mezzano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Aversano came free, but Andrea Colasante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Catini was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Francesco Vinciguerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carbonate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Vinciguerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carbonate's Fabiano Aversano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrea Colasante. That made the score 1-1 after 56 minutes of play. Andrea Colasante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Vinciguerra in the 59th minute. Emanuele De Laurentiis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Flavio Catini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Donato Tesone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carbonate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mezzano AFC the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Carbonate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Tesone to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Emiliano Di Silvio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Caracciolo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Emanuele De Laurentiis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Emiliano Caracciolo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dario Cammarota, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Flavio Catini scored 3-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Caracciolo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 played minutes Mezzano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Uguccioni. Flavio Catini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuele De Laurentiis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Caracciolo having to interfere. Emiliano Caracciolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Catini in the 91st minute of play. Emiliano Caracciolo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Mezzano AFC's Flavio Catini. But to his dismay, Flavio Catini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Mezzano AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
