An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Bussi in the 10th minute of play forced Quartiere's goalkeeper Cristoforo Alfani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Benvenuto's late challenge caught a Quartiere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Benvenuto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Quartiere booed when Ravagnese AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Benvenuto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Quartiere's Alberigo Graziano tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Quartiere's Corrado Stragapede in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ravagnese AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Cabrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristoforo Alfani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Damiano Apolloni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quartiere's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Apolloni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Michelini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damiano Apolloni might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuele Michelini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damiano Apolloni ran back to his position shaking his head. The Ravagnese AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Quartiere from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
