With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Montaldi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Carlo Bobbio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piazza Vecchia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Bobbio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Spano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Montaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Ballerini in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Piazza Vecchia FC's Carlo Bobbio got a free kick in the 15th minute. Piazza Vecchia FC's Alfredo Montaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Ballerini in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Patrizi in the 20th minute of play forced Malva Sud FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Spano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Bobbio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Piazza Vecchia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malva Sud FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Malva Sud FC's Carlo Sciotto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alfredo Montaldi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Ballerini in the 33rd minute of play forced Piazza Vecchia FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Montaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvise Patrizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Emanuele Spano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Franco Vierchowod managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malva Sud FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Vierchowod was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Montaldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dave Marchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Spano having to interfere.

Alvise Patrizi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Emanuele Spano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 57th match minute, Malva Sud FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Di Maio to maneuver through the defense. When Alvise Patrizi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Piazza Vecchia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvise Patrizi couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Malva Sud FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Marchetti came free, but Emanuele Spano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Vierchowod might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Montaldi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Vierchowod ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Piazza Vecchia FC's Emanuele Spano threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dave Marchetti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 77 minutes into the match, Malva Sud FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Marchetti came free, but Emanuele Spano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Alvise Patrizi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piazza Vecchia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Domenico Di Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Alvise Patrizi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Emanuele Spano made a huge save. In the 86thth minute of the game Edmondo Ballerini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piazza Vecchia FC's Alfredo Montaldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Dave Marchetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piazza Vecchia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Marchetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
