Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dave Marchetti kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Trivella AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Maggi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvise Patrizi. Demetrio Albanesi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Antonello Riccitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Collovati's late challenge caught a Piazza Vecchia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Collovati helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Enzo Collovati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Dave Marchetti took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Augusto Maggi to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Piazza Vecchia FC's Demetrio Albanesi got a free kick in the 19th minute. Dennis Maccioni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Piazza Vecchia FC's Domenico Di Martino got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Piazza Vecchia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Colantoni came free, but Alfredo Montaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonello Riccitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Montaldi having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Trivella AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Collovati. After recieving a nice pass, Piazza Vecchia FC's Fabiano Onori tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Augusto Maggi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Marchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Dave Marchetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Maggi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Beppe Colantoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonello Riccitelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dave Marchetti might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Maggi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Marchetti ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute of the match Fabiano Onori sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Maggi skillfully saved the ball. Dave Marchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Augusto Maggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Beppe Colantoni notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Piazza Vecchia FC's Alfredo Montaldi. Alfredo Montaldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the game, Filippo Imperiale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trivella AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piazza Vecchia FC the free kick. A collision led to Trivella AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Filippo Imperiale hit a great ball. Alvise Patrizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Alvise Patrizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trivella AFC's Augusto Maggi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Marchetti in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Antonello Riccitelli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfredo Montaldi, passed just outside the right post. In the 79th match minute, Piazza Vecchia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Bobbio to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piazza Vecchia FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Montaldi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Trivella AFC's Enzo Collovati got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Fabiano Onori sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Maggi skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Trivella AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Andrea Vasco hit a great ball. Alessandro Di Martino hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Dave Marchetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trivella AFC's Augusto Maggi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Marchetti in the 92nd minute of play. Augusto Maggi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Patrizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
