Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alessio Fontana kicked off to start the match. Ercole Salvagnin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Citrullo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Adriano Benarrivo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Salvagnin having to interfere. Adriano Benarrivo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 played minutes Volpiano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Marziali. Alessio Fontana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camillo Maietta having to make a save. After having played for 16 minutes, Alfonso Franceschi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volpiano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Franceschi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adriano Benarrivo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ercole Salvagnin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Benarrivo ran back to his position shaking his head. Volpiano AFC's Alessio Fontana got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessio Fontana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Camillo Maietta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Vedano Al Lambro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Volpiano AFC:s goal. Camillo Maietta went to the wrong direction when Enrico Di Monte was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Comunardo Fantauzzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Benarrivo made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Alessio Fontana made a precise shot to the right of Camillo Maietta. Vedano Al Lambro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Camillo Maietta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Fontana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Alessio Fontana notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vedano Al Lambro's Camillo Maietta. Camillo Maietta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arturo Marcantonio charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Marcantonio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vedano Al Lambro's Arturo Marcantonio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ercole Salvagnin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Benarrivo in the 78th minute. If Alessio Fontana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes Vedano Al Lambro got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Marcantonio. Camillo Maietta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Franceschi went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Franceschi in the 89th minute of play forced Vedano Al Lambro's goalkeeper Camillo Maietta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 played minutes, Volpiano AFC's Carlo Fabrizi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camillo Maietta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Volpiano AFC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Gargano during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 98th minute, Federico Gargano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vedano Al Lambro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Volpiano AFC.
