Armando Bardella hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Carmine Foddis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Masi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 34 minute of play. Ferruccio Talamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Chiesuola FC booed when Collegno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Bardella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damiano Luzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrico Quadrini's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Penalty! The goalkeeper, Damiano Luzi, was totally fooled by Collegno FC's Antonello Egidi, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Alfredo Raimondi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Luzi having to interfere. Enrico Quadrini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damiano Luzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. The Collegno FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Collegno FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
