Adriano Di Sipio made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Alfredo Raimondi sent off a good shot on target. A long shot from Antonello Egidi in the 11th minute of play was well struck, but Adriano Di Sipio made a really good save at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele De Felice in the 13th minute of play forced Collegno FC's goalkeeper Carmine Foddis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Enrico Quadrini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarzano FC's Adriano Di Sipio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adriano Di Sipio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Quadrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Raimondi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Adriano Di Sipio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 1-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Enrico Quadrini elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eugenio Losito made the kick off in the second half. If Fedele De Felice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugenio Losito had several of the Collegno FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Carmine Foddis as he didn't even see the shot coming. Adriano Di Sipio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Raimondi in the 60th minute of play. Collegno FC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Sarzano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonello Egidi took the corner. Antonello Egidi made a great header on Collegno FC's corner, it was just that Sarzano FC's Adriano Di Sipio managed to reach the ball for a save. Adriano Di Sipio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Quadrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 84 minutes in the game, Eugenio Losito fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carmine Foddis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sarzano FC's zone, Bernardo Massimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Di Sipio came out of the goal and Bernardo Massimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Losito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute of the match, Eugenio Losito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carmine Foddis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sarzano FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
