Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arturo Bisegna started the match with the kick off. Ferdinando Giannotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Cordone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes of play, Massenzatico's Fabio Cordone made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinando Giannotti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferdinando Giannotti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Cordone in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Massenzatico's Bianco Cristofari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinando Giannotti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 minutes of play, Marina Di Ravenna's Arturo Bisegna made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Bianco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute Arturo Bisegna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Bianco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Arturo Bisegna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marina Di Ravenna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bianco Cristofari in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinando Giannotti saved Marina Di Ravenna from getting behind. In the 35th minute Fabio Cordone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Giannotti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Cristofari came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ferdinando Giannotti could save by the left post. Bernardo De Cesaris took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Bianco. Bruno Bianco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Cordone to strike the kick off in the second half. When Fabio Cordone came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Massenzatico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Cordone couldn't finish the play. Bianco Cristofari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ferdinando Giannotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Marina Di Ravenna's Bernardo De Cesaris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Bianco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo De Cesaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bruno Bianco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Bernardo De Cesaris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marina Di Ravenna's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo De Cesaris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Bianco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabio Cordone's late challenge caught a Marina Di Ravenna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Cordone helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Cordone kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Bianco Cristofari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvise Rondinelli hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Alfonso Brini, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Fabio Cordone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Massenzatico's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Cordone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinando Giannotti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Marina Di Ravenna booed when Massenzatico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Musacchio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Massenzatico's Fabio Cordone in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marina Di Ravenna's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo De Cesaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fabio Cordone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinando Giannotti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marina Di Ravenna eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
