The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, San Michele's goalkeeper Dario Visintin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Addario. Carlo Mazzocchetti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Molinaro went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Settimello FC's Carlo Mazzocchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Scibilia in the 20th minute of play. When Damiano Melfi fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Michele's protests and gave Damiano Melfi a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 minutes, Cristoforo Silvagni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Settimello FC and the San Michele players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of San Michele booed when Settimello FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Silvagni didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Michele's Biagio Scibilia got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Visintin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Addario went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Carlo Mazzocchetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Molinaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Biagio Scibilia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Fabio Addario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Settimello FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Addario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camillo Pinti took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Visintin. Dario Visintin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Fabio Addario struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Dario Visintin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Settimello FC. The audience was convinced that Fabio Addario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Visintin was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Camillo Pinti notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of San Michele's Dario Visintin. Dario Visintin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camillo Pinti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Visintin having to interfere. Arturo Molinaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Mazzocchetti having to interfere. Carlo Mazzocchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Scibilia in the 76th minute of play. San Michele's Dario Visintin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Pinti in the 78th minute of play. During the 79th minute of the match Damiano Melfi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Damiano Melfi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of San Michele booed when Settimello FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Monti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes Settimello FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Dominici. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Settimello FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ferruccio Padula was slow to take the kick. During this time San Michele's players had a chance to rest. The corner led San Michele's Ferruccio Padula to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlo Mazzocchetti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlo Mazzocchetti made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Arturo Molinaro sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Settimello FC had won after a very even match.
