Antonio Marinacci struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Bernardo Scibilia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bagno A Ripoli AFC. Bernardo Scibilia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Donato in the 14th minute of play. Cosimo Conti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Napoleoni having to interfere. Aurelio Tamburrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Carlo Napoleoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Montemurlo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ciccio Massimi hit a great ball. Angelo Carbonetti hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Filippo Martano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Marinacci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antonio Marinacci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franco Donato was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Aurelio Tamburrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Napoleoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Napoleoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Martano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cosimo Conti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filippo Martano in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Napoleoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bagno A Ripoli AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Davide Balboni hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bagno A Ripoli AFC's Carlo Napoleoni got control of the ball when Cosimo Conti tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cosimo Conti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Montemurlo booed when Bagno A Ripoli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Casale didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Filippo Martano came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Montemurlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippo Martano couldn't finish the play. Bagno A Ripoli AFC's Carlo Napoleoni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Bagno A Ripoli AFC from getting a goal against them. Carlo Napoleoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Martano in the 79th minute of the match. Bernardo Scibilia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88thth minute of the game Filippo Martano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagno A Ripoli AFC's Carlo Napoleoni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th of the match, Filippo Martano tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Carlo Napoleoni got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Filippo Martano came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Montemurlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippo Martano couldn't finish the play.
