Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlo Basso started the match with the kick off. Carmine Bottone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Massimi in the 4th minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Alessio Juliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sorbara's Ciccio Massimi in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gazzata AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gazzata AFC's Carmine Bottone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Massimi in the 12th minute of play. Carmine Bottone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Giampieri in the 18th minute of the match. Carlo Basso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alessio Serra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessio Serra made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Enzo Orlandi sent off a good shot on target. Alessio Serra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciccio Massimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmine Bottone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Giampieri in the 32nd minute of play. Ciccio Massimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ciccio Massimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Bottone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Giampieri in the 37th minute of play. Carmine Bottone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Concetto Giampieri went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Concetto Giampieri was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Gazzata AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Ferri. Enzo Giacomozzi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Gazzata AFC's Carmine Bottone got control of the ball when Ciccio Massimi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Concetto Giampieri during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 61 minutes into the game, Christian Carrea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gazzata AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorbara the free kick. Ciccio Massimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Bottone having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Gazzata AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Franceschi. Arrigo Manzoni kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Sorbara's Beppe Burelli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Beppe Burelli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sorbara protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Beppe Burelli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 77th minute, one of Sorbara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sorbara. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Gazzata AFC. Ennio Cristofari stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alessio Serra. 1-1. 84 minutes into the match, Sorbara's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Orlandi came free, but Alessio Serra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Orlandi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessio Serra having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Orlandi in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessio Serra saved Sorbara from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Carlo Basso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gazzata AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Basso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessio Serra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Basso in the 93rd minute of play forced Sorbara's goalkeeper Alessio Serra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gazzata AFC booed when Sorbara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Clemente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Orlandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Carlo Basso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessio Serra was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. After 99 minutes, Arrigo Manzoni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sorbara and the Gazzata AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 99 played minutes Sorbara got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Manzoni. The corner led to Gazzata AFC's Carlo Basso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
