Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claudio Scudieri made the kick off which started today's match. Corrado Renzetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Carmine Bottone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Gazzata AFC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Carrea. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Corrado Renzetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dercogna's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Renzetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Bottone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Enzo Orlandi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Spano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Claudio Scudieri came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Dercogna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Scudieri couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gazzata AFC's goalkeeper Carmine Bottone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Claudio Scudieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Gazzata AFC defense, Corrado Renzetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmine Bottone. The Gazzata AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmine Bottone should have stopped the shot. Carlo Basso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Scudieri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmine Bottone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. If Enzo Orlandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amerigo Spano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Orlandi in the 47th minute of play. In the 50th minute, Corrado Renzetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlo Basso was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Dino Di Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Corrado Renzetti notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gazzata AFC's Carmine Bottone. Carmine Bottone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Corrado Renzetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dercogna's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Renzetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 68thth minute of the game Claudio Scudieri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gazzata AFC's Carmine Bottone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Corrado Renzetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gazzata AFC booed when Dercogna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Panino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Ennio Cristofari sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amerigo Spano skillfully saved the ball. Enzo Orlandi struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Amerigo Spano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gazzata AFC. Ferruccio Ferri hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Corrado Renzetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Scudieri scored 3-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carmine Bottone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th match minute, Gazzata AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Carrea to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Adriano Sciamanna sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gazzata AFC's Carmine Bottone didn't even have to move. Carmine Bottone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Renzetti in the 88th minute of play. Corrado Renzetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dercogna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gazzata AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
