Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arturo Perilli kicked off to start the match. Dario Galliani struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Emiliano Braccia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novara FC. If Dave Berti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Novara FC booed when San Leonardo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Facchini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Perilli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Perilli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Emiliano Braccia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Dave Berti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Berti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Braccia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 played minutes San Leonardo got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Spitaleri. The supporters of Novara FC booed when San Leonardo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Di Marzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Basilico came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by San Leonardo's Biagio Di Marzio. But to his dismay, Biagio Di Marzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dave Attili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Basilico having to interfere. If Dave Attili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Novara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Ciarrocchi to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Biagio Di Marzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Novara FC's Arturo Perilli made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Braccia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emiliano Braccia came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Novara FC's Dario Galliani. But to his dismay, Dario Galliani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Emiliano Braccia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Perilli, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Emiliano Braccia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Berti in the 74th minute of play. Alberto Cala kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Arturo Perilli took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Braccia. Emiliano Braccia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 94th match minute, Novara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Perilli to maneuver through the defense. Biagio Di Marzio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrico Basilico came out and tried to block the shot, but Biagio Di Marzio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Novara FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while San Leonardo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
