The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diego Imperiale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Iacobucci in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alexander Minicucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponzana AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Minicucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Imperiale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Minicucci might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Imperiale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Minicucci ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ponzana AFC's Aldo Iacobucci in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 23rd minute, Alexander Minicucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexander Minicucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ponzana AFC's Alexander Minicucci in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albarea FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Albarea FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Edoardo Venditti hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Diego Imperiale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Iacobucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ponzana AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ettore Canuto in the 55th minute. Ponzana AFC's Ettore Canuto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diego Imperiale in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Diego Imperiale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Iacobucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Diego Imperiale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Iacobucci in the 58th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Ermanno Gaspari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albarea FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ponzana AFC the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Albarea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Gaspari to maneuver through the defense. If Alexander Minicucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Albarea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Minicucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aldo Iacobucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Imperiale having to interfere. Carlo Liberti kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Alessio Coco came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Albarea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessio Coco couldn't finish the play. Aldo Iacobucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Imperiale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ponzana AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
