Alessandro Ubriaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Ubriaco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Minicucci in the 21st minute. Ponzana AFC's Alexander Minicucci managed to work through Borgo Isonzo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alexander Minicucci dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Andrea Conforti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermanno Catini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Alexander Minicucci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Alessandro Ubriaco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabiano Battista hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlo Contaldi to strike the kick off in the second half. If Andrea Conforti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes of play, Ponzana AFC's Alexander Minicucci made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Ubriaco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ermanno Catini was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Carlo Contaldi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlo Contaldi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Contaldi in the 72nd minute of play forced Ponzana AFC's goalkeeper Ermanno Catini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea Conforti in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ermanno Catini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 75 minutes into the match, Borgo Isonzo's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Minicucci came free, but Alessandro Ubriaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Minicucci in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Ubriaco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borgo Isonzo's Alessandro Ubriaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Minicucci in the 78th minute of play. Andrea Conforti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Ponzana AFC's Aldo Iacobucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Ubriaco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bianco Fortunato's late challenge caught a Borgo Isonzo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bianco Fortunato helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Bianco Fortunato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
