Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo De Fina started the match with the kick off. Felice De Lorenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Corrado Picozzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Felice De Lorenzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corrado Picozzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Grieco in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Coviello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo De Fina struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Corrado Picozzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stanga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo De Fina in the 25th minute of play forced Cervara's goalkeeper Corrado Picozzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Stanga's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Grieco came free, but Cristoforo Coviello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Cervara's Elia Grieco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo Coviello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Attilio Di Ruscio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felice De Lorenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Corrado Picozzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ennio Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Grieco in the 41st minute of play forced Stanga's goalkeeper Cristoforo Coviello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Stanga booed when Cervara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Guidone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo De Fina might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corrado Picozzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo De Fina ran back to his position shaking his head. Corrado Picozzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo De Fina in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elia Grieco to make the kick off. With a little luck, Stanga's Cristoforo Coviello got control of the ball when Attilio Di Ruscio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Attilio Di Ruscio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Di Pasquale hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Cristoforo Ciraci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corrado Picozzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Felice De Lorenzi came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Stanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice De Lorenzi couldn't finish the play. Felice De Lorenzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Picozzi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cervara's Felice Guidone got a free kick in the 81st minute. Corrado Picozzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice De Lorenzi in the 84th minute of play. If Ennio Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elia Grieco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arrigo Bertoni fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stanga's protests and gave Arrigo Bertoni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Arrigo Bertoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elia Grieco charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elia Grieco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cervara getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Elia Grieco hit a great ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Felice Guidone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cervara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Guidone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
