Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alberigo Monzeglio kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Ponticelli's Armando Caporale in 4 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Achille Campana guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 8 minutes into the match, Maiero's goalkeeper Achille Campana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex La Marca. When Alex La Marca came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ponticelli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex La Marca couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Maiero's zone, Alex La Marca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achille Campana came out of the goal and Alex La Marca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Maiero's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Caporale came free, but Achille Campana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Maiero defense, Armando Caporale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Achille Campana. The Maiero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Achille Campana should have stopped the shot. Achille Campana made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Alex La Marca sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute of the match Filippo Felicetti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ercole Carlini skillfully saved the ball. Florian Prato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ercole Carlini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ennio Parco's late challenge caught a Ponticelli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio Parco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Maiero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Parco to maneuver through the defense. Armando Caporale might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Achille Campana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Caporale ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Caporale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Florian Prato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponticelli's Ercole Carlini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Maiero's Fabiano Tana got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Armando Caporale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maiero's Achille Campana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniele Manzoli hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Alex La Marca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ponticelli booed when Maiero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Manzoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Prato was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Maiero's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Caporale came free, but Achille Campana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Carlini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Prato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ercole Carlini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Prato in the 68th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Ponticelli's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Prato came free, but Ercole Carlini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Bonsignore hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Maiero's Fabiano Tana in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Achille Campana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Caporale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex La Marca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Achille Campana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes Maiero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florian Campese who took care of the corner kick. Florian Campese made a great header on Ponticelli's corner, it was just that Maiero's Achille Campana managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 93 minutes, Alex La Marca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponticelli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex La Marca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ercole Carlini was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alvaro Bonsignore. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maiero players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ponticelli.
