Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Caprona AFC's Ferruccio Toppi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Caprona AFC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Alberigo Baratta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Chitarroni in the 5th minute of play forced Caprona AFC's goalkeeper Amedeo Capasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Gaeta came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Caprona AFC's Ferruccio Toppi. But to his dismay, Ferruccio Toppi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Amedeo Capasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Chitarroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caprona AFC's zone, Enzo Barresi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amedeo Capasso came out of the goal and Enzo Barresi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabrizio Chitarroni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amedeo Capasso having to make a save. In the 27th minute, Edoardo Sciotto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Caprona AFC's Francesco Rava tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Beppe Gaeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Toppi in the 29th minute of the match. Amedeo Capasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Barresi in the 33rd minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Enzo Barresi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pozzi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Barresi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anthony Nanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabrizio Chitarroni to strike the kick off in the second half. If Enzo Barresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Barresi in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amedeo Capasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabrizio Chitarroni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Amedeo Capasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Caprona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Marcantonio to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Pozzi AFC's Bernardo Simeoni broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alberigo Baratta's late challenge caught a Pozzi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Baratta helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardo Simeoni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Fabrizio Chitarroni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pozzi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio Chitarroni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amedeo Capasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferruccio Toppi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pozzi AFC's Fabrizio Chitarroni got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristoforo Di Cristofaro's late challenge caught a Caprona AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristoforo Di Cristofaro helped the player get up and apologised. Cristoforo Di Cristofaro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Alessandro Verdecchia shot from long distance in the 85th minute, but Beppe Gaeta was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Amedeo Capasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Chitarroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Fabrizio Chitarroni struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Amedeo Capasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pozzi AFC. Amedeo Capasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Chitarroni in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pozzi AFC fully deserved thier win.
