Diego Di Meo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Volta having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Rivoli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Lenci came free, but Enrico Barbanti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Diego Di Meo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Volta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Di Meo in the 12th minute of the match. Borgo Moella FC's Fabio Volta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Bosco in the 16th minute of play. When Amerigo Tarquini came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Borgo Moella FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amerigo Tarquini couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Bosco in the 30th minute of play forced Borgo Moella FC's goalkeeper Fabio Volta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Achille Lenci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Lenci in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enrico Barbanti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Achille Lenci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 43 in the game by Alfredo Forlani from a close distance when the talented Enrico Barbanti managed to make a qualified save. Rivoli FC's players were relieved.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Achille Lenci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Achille Lenci made a precise shot to the right of Enrico Barbanti. Rivoli FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Carmine Bosco might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Volta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmine Bosco ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Di Meo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. When Armin Ramoser fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borgo Moella FC's protests and gave Armin Ramoser a yellow card for diving instead. Armin Ramoser hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rivoli FC booed when Borgo Moella FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Tarquini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Carmine Bosco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carmine Bosco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Volta having to interfere. Alfredo Forlani might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrico Barbanti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Forlani ran back to his position shaking his head. Dario Petrocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Borgo Moella FC's Achille Lenci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrico Barbanti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrico Barbanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Forlani in the 92nd minute of the match. When Amerigo Tarquini came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Borgo Moella FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amerigo Tarquini couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Rivoli FC's zone, Alfredo Forlani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Barbanti came out of the goal and Alfredo Forlani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rivoli FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Borgo Moella FC.
