Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Pegli got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Picozzi. Dave Troilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Andrea Altobelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Filippo De Angelis fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pegli's protests and gave Filippo De Angelis a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Stefano in the 13th minute of play forced Pegli's goalkeeper Andrea Altobelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Anzolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Altobelli having to interfere. If Eraldo Lucchetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eraldo Lucchetta hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Frank Berardo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Emiliano Garofoli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armin Morelli skillfully saved the ball. Fabio Anzolin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Crocetta FC's zone, Fabiano Palone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armin Morelli came out of the goal and Fabiano Palone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dave Troilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dave Troilo to make the kick off. Fabio Anzolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Altobelli having to interfere. Andrea Altobelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Troilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Armin Morelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Palone in the 61st minute of play. If Fabio Anzolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Berardo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Pegli's Emiliano Garofoli couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Crocetta FC. If Fabio Anzolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th match minute, Pegli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Schiacciacasse to maneuver through the defense. Armin Morelli came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Pegli's Eraldo Lucchetta. But to his dismay, Eraldo Lucchetta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 82nd minute Eraldo Lucchetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Morelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eraldo Lucchetta in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Morelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Andrea Altobelli managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Crocetta FC's Fabio Anzolin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 88 minutes into the game, Eraldo Brillante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pegli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crocetta FC the free kick. After 89 played minutes Pegli got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Brillante. Andrea Altobelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Berardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pegli players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
