Vecchiazzano's Cesare Demaria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Mascitti in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Cesare Di Giulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Arrigo Melucci fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vecchiazzano's protests and gave Arrigo Melucci a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Vecchiazzano got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Melucci. Camillo Tenaglia's late challenge caught a Borgomagno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camillo Tenaglia helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Borgomagno got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Zinni. Arrigo Melucci was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 27 played minutes Vecchiazzano got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Melucci. A collision led to Vecchiazzano getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fabio Di Liddo hit a great ball. Cesare Di Giulio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Cesare Demaria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Fabio Di Liddo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesare Di Giulio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cesare Demaria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgomagno. Felice Franceschi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 48 minutes in the game Cosimo De Sisti after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Cesare Demaria. A very good opportunity.

In the 54th match minute, Vecchiazzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Lattanzio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Camillo Tenaglia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vecchiazzano's supporters rose to their feet, but Camillo Tenaglia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Luongo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Borgomagno getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Enzo Zinni hit a great ball. Claudio Luongo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Aldo Di Maio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vecchiazzano booed when Borgomagno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Zinni didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Armin Biagetti fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vecchiazzano's protests and gave Armin Biagetti a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Vecchiazzano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Borgomagno:s goal. Cosimo De Sisti walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Aldo Di Maio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Claudio Luongo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vecchiazzano. Borgomagno's Comunardo Piacente suffered a concussion after 81 minutes and had to leave the field. After 81 minutes of play Vecchiazzano's Fabio Di Liddo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Borgomagno booed when Vecchiazzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Di Liddo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Di Maio charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Di Maio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
