Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adriano Potenza kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Cosimo Pilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sambughe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Igea Marina AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sambughe FC's Cosimo Pilla got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Adriano Potenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sambughe FC's Alberto Baratta got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Carmine Tassotti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corrado Pallini skillfully saved the ball. Sambughe FC's Corrado Pallini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Persichetti in the 28th minute of play. Andrea Persichetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Persichetti in the 35th minute of play forced Sambughe FC's goalkeeper Corrado Pallini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Baratta charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Baratta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Corrado Pallini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Baratta got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Sambughe FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alberto Baratta hit a great ball. In the 50th minute Igea Marina AFC were awarded a corner. Enzo Ronca went to the cornerflag to take it. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrea Persichetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Alexander Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igea Marina AFC's Andrea Persichetti got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Di Crescenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Bassi in the 70th minute of play. If Alberigo Bassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Sambughe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Persichetti came free, but Corrado Pallini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberigo Bassi struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Angelo Di Crescenzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sambughe FC. After having played for 84 minutes, Alberigo Bassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sambughe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Bassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corrado Pallini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Persichetti in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Carter Lucchetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrea Persichetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Pallini having to interfere. Igea Marina AFC's Angelo Di Crescenzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Bassi in the 97th minute of play. Angelo Di Crescenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Bassi in the 99th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
