After recieving a nice pass, Poggio Berni AFC's Ettore Spadoni tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Barducci in the 13th minute of play forced Bagnarola AFC's goalkeeper Andrea Palmisano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bagnarola AFC's Frank Giancola got a free kick in the 14th minute. Biagio Barducci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. The supporters of Poggio Berni AFC booed when Bagnarola AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Visintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes, Eraldo Cirelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poggio Berni AFC and the Bagnarola AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Poggio Berni AFC's Carlo Vespucci got a free kick in the 34th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Poggio Berni AFC's goalkeeper Alfredo De Tommasi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Baggio. After 35 played minutes Poggio Berni AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Mauro. Alfredo De Tommasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Colasante in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Poggio Berni AFC's goalkeeper Alfredo De Tommasi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Baggio. In the 81st minute, Cristiano Gervasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo De Tommasi came out of the goal and Dennis Colasante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Baggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
