Anthony Mian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Arrigo Giannico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Castelfranco's Arrigo Giannico got control of the ball when Cesare Circelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Fabio Ronconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Giannico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Forlì AFC's Cesare Circelli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arrigo Giannico. Arrigo Giannico yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Di Luca in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Ronconi made a kick off.
