The supporters of Migliandono booed when Betlemme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Scarpa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fedele Talone was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Felice Santacroce. Flavio Lauria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Battisti in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Ciro Pari got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Ciro Pari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Migliandono's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Pari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Cristofari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Lauria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Battisti in the 38th minute of the match. Ciro Pari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Betlemme's Augusto Lorefice got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damiano Battisti was the one to do the kick off. Flavio Lauria was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Ennio Facchetti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ennio Facchetti really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Frank Cristofari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Lorefice charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Lorefice the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fedele Talone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Pari in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes in the game, Damiano Battisti fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Flavio Lauria having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Betlemme's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Cristofari came free, but Fedele Talone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Betlemme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Scarpa to maneuver through the defense. Fedele Talone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Cristofari in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Betlemme booed when Migliandono was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Alfieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fedele Talone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Cristofari, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ennio Facchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Lauria had great luck who in the 90thth minute grab hold of the ball when Damiano Battisti from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Damiano Battisti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Betlemme supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Betlemme would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
