Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aldo Cucci kicked off to start the match. The Santo Briccio fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Santo Briccio's Alexander Morini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aldo Cucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Sciascia having to interfere. Ennio Di Renzo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Andrea Sciascia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Morini in the 16th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Felice Buccella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staglieno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Buccella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Flavio Giordani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amerigo Prosperi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Giordani in the 27th minute of play. Alexander Morini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Sciascia having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Cucci in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Sciascia saved Staglieno from getting behind. A collision led to Santo Briccio getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Edmondo Di Loreto hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Staglieno's Anfilogino Palmucci tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alexander Morini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrea Sciascia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Tieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Polmone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amerigo Prosperi. Santo Briccio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Staglieno's zone, Aldo Cucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Sciascia came out of the goal and Aldo Cucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Giordani to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Flavio Giordani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amerigo Prosperi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Felice Buccella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Prosperi having to interfere. Flavio Giordani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Morini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Andrea Sciascia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Staglieno's Andrea Sciascia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Morini in the 79th minute of play. Aldo Cucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Briccio's Alexander Morini got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Staglieno got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Cugini. The supporters of Staglieno booed when Santo Briccio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Santucci didn't get a good kick on the ball.
