If Anthony Furino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Salvagnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Andrea Sciascia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damiano Salvagnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anfilogino Palmucci charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anfilogino Palmucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anfilogino Palmucci kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Felice Buccella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felice Buccella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Mazzocchi having to interfere. Bruno Terenzi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes, Albarea FC's Bruno Terenzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrea Sciascia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Albarea FC reached it. Andrea Sciascia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Furino in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Furino in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrea Sciascia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 minutes, Ciccio Picciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Staglieno and the Albarea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciccio Picciano hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Ciccio Picciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Bruno Terenzi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Staglieno's Andrea Sciascia didn't even have to move. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Giordani to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Albarea FC's zone, Flavio Giordani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Mazzocchi came out of the goal and Flavio Giordani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Staglieno's Felice Buccella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Mazzocchi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Crema's late challenge caught a Staglieno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Crema helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Staglieno booed when Albarea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Crema didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felice Buccella spun around in front of the goal 57 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Albarea FC's goal. Damiano Salvagnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Andrea Sciascia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Staglieno's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Salvagnin came free, but Andrea Sciascia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staglieno's Andrea Sciascia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Staglieno from getting a goal against them. When Staglieno's Flavio Giordani in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albarea FC's goalie prevented a goal. 74 minutes into the game, Ennio Di Renzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Staglieno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albarea FC the free kick. After 74 played minutes Staglieno got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Di Renzo. When Eugenio Polmone fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Staglieno's protests and gave Eugenio Polmone a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Staglieno:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Albarea FC:s goal. Andrea Sciascia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthony Furino in the 85th minute. Felice Buccella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ciro Mazzocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Salvagnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Sciascia having to interfere. Felice Buccella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Albarea FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Staglieno.
