Limito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casoria AFC the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Limito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Iezzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Andrea Desiderio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Casoria AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emilio Mauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrea Desiderio's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Elia Cicchinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Pelliccioni, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Dario Stefano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes, Limito FC's Alfredo Palomba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elia Cicchinelli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Limito FC reached it. Claudio Pelliccioni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Claudio Pelliccioni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Cicchinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limito FC's Dario Stefano got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudio Pelliccioni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Cicchinelli having to interfere. Dario Stefano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Elia Cicchinelli made a huge save. Dario Stefano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Elia Cicchinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Emilio Mauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Attilio Caretti in the 65th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Andrea Desiderio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casoria AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea Desiderio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Claudio Pelliccioni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elia Cicchinelli. Casoria AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Pelliccioni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Claudio Pelliccioni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. When Limito FC's Claudio Pelliccioni in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Casoria AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Casoria AFC's Ercole Tatangelo got a free kick in the 97th minute.
