Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrea Desiderio started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Attilio Caretti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casoria AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Caretti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amedeo Cagnetta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Attilio Caretti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amedeo Cagnetta. Vetrego's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Attilio Caretti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Andrea Desiderio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 played minutes Vetrego got a freekick which was hit by Angelo De Bettin. Amedeo Cagnetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Desiderio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Casoria AFC's zone, Florian Cavanna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Cicchinelli came out of the goal and Florian Cavanna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attilio Caretti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Cavanna hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Attilio Caretti's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amedeo Cagnetta firmly grabbed it by the left post. Elia Cicchinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Cavanna, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Ercole Tatangelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casoria AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vetrego the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Casoria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Tatangelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, one of Casoria AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Casoria AFC. The referee gave Vetrego a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amedeo Pietrangelo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Casoria AFC's Elia Cicchinelli. 2-1. In the 37th minute, Amedeo Pietrangelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Attilio Caretti came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Casoria AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Caretti couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Amedeo Cagnetta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Elia Cicchinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Busillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 51stth minute of the game Carlo Costantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vetrego's Amedeo Cagnetta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casoria AFC's Attilio Caretti got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 58 minutes, Alberto Busillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vetrego's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Busillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florian Cavanna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Vetrego's Alberto Busillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elia Cicchinelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ercole Piccini hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Angelo De Bettin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elia Cicchinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Cavanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Casoria AFC's Andrea Desiderio in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vetrego's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Ercole Piccini notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Vetrego's Amedeo Cagnetta. Amedeo Cagnetta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vetrego's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
