After a defensive mix-up in Cussignacco FC's zone, Alvise Di Marzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Toto came out of the goal and Alvise Di Marzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaggiano AFC's Alvise Di Marzio got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cussignacco FC's Antonello Toto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cussignacco FC from getting a goal against them. Ettore De Bartolo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Di Marzio in the 23rd minute of play forced Cussignacco FC's goalkeeper Antonello Toto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrico Menna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Silveri in the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvise Baldassarre during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alvise Di Marzio made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cussignacco FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Angelo Santacroce hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gaggiano AFC's zone, Ennio Balestra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Menna came out of the goal and Ennio Balestra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Attilio Silveri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrico Menna was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Ennio Balestra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Enrico Menna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Armin Aureli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ettore De Bartolo charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ettore De Bartolo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ettore De Bartolo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Cussignacco FC booed when Gaggiano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Testa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ettore De Bartolo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gaggiano AFC had won after a very even match.
