With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damiano Saraceni in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Michelini saved Cascina Vica FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Monzeglio in the 8th minute of play forced Cervia's goalkeeper Dennis Palomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Cascina Vica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Saraceni came free, but Anselmo Michelini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Damiano Saraceni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Damiano Saraceni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 minutes, Dave De Francesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cascina Vica FC and the Cervia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dave De Francesco hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Cascina Vica FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Scafati. In the 23rd minute, Diego Cesaroni sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cascina Vica FC's Anselmo Michelini didn't even have to move. Felice Baur in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dennis Palomba, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anselmo Michelini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Sampo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cascina Vica FC! When Aldo Dionisi fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cascina Vica FC's protests and gave Aldo Dionisi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cervia booed when Cascina Vica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Dionisi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Cascina Vica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Marcucci to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Diego Cesaroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Michelini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrizio De Nicola during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Cascina Vica FC's Enrico Marcucci got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dennis Palomba. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ciro Sampo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cervia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Sampo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Michelini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Cervia's Ciro Sampo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Ciro Sampo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Palomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Baur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Felice Baur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascina Vica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Baur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cascina Vica FC's Anselmo Michelini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Cascina Vica FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cascina Vica FC's Fortunato Helfer got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Ciro Sampo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Michelini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Saraceni, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ciro Sampo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Anselmo Michelini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cervia. Damiano Saraceni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Anselmo Michelini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Damiano Saraceni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Michelini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Scafati charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Scafati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dario Scafati hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cervia's Damiano Saraceni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anselmo Michelini. That made the score 1-5 after 94 minutes of play.
