In the 21st minute, Davide De Nicola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Poggio AFC's Florian Capuozzi got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Alberigo Peca managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poggio AFC's goalkeeper Armin Olmi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano De Santis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Trotta's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 37 played minutes Poggio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Bolognesi. Armin Olmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Persichetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Frattocchie FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alberigo Peca in the 40th minute. The corner led Frattocchie FC's Alberigo Peca to fire away a dangerous shot which Armin Olmi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Anselmo Maldini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Elia Persichetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frattocchie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Persichetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Armin Olmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Aversano in the 56th minute of play. Frattocchie FC's Adriano De Santis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Maldini in the 57th minute of play. Anselmo Maldini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Elia Persichetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Olmi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Fabio Fantasia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frattocchie FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poggio AFC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Ceresoli in the 72nd minute of play forced Poggio AFC's goalkeeper Armin Olmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Maldini hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Elia Persichetti succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0.
