Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edoardo Walcher took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Cerasolo Auro FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Del Pizzo. In the 7th minute, Fortunato Tarquini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortunato Tarquini in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Montini saved Cerasolo Auro FC from getting behind. Fortunato Tarquini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dave Montini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Walcher in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cerasolo Auro FC's zone, Fortunato Tarquini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Montini came out of the goal and Fortunato Tarquini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edoardo Walcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Cerasolo Auro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Cancemi to maneuver through the defense. Edoardo Walcher took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Montini. Dave Montini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 1-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Antonello Giovannelli elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Achille Bassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Giovannelli in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Walcher in the 30th minute of play forced Cerasolo Auro FC's goalkeeper Dave Montini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edoardo Walcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fortunato Tarquini in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Montini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Cerasolo Auro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Walcher came free, but Dave Montini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Edoardo Walcher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 played minutes Cerasolo Auro FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Cancemi. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonello Giovannelli was the one to do the kick off. Damiano Benarrivo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Bassi having to interfere. In the 61st minute Antonello Giovannelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Bassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pontenure FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dario Addari hit a great ball. If Damiano Benarrivo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pontenure FC's Edoardo Walcher got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Dave Montini managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Pontenure FC's Fortunato Tarquini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute Donato Grossi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Cerasolo Auro FC's Antonello Giovannelli got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Damiano Benarrivo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Pontenure FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Giovannelli came free, but Achille Bassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damiano Benarrivo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Achille Bassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antonello Antonini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fortunato Tarquini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Montini having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
