Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alberigo Perilli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberigo Perilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Picca having to interfere. If Augusto Di Prinzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Di Michele came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Castellanza's Anthony Lorefice. But to his dismay, Anthony Lorefice quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfredo Capaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Armin Picca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Armando Campoli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armin Picca, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Campoli in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Picca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Del Monaco hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Anthony Lorefice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Di Michele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberigo Perilli's late challenge caught a Castellanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Perilli helped the player get up and apologised. Alberigo Perilli kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Augusto Di Prinzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Capaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Campoli to make the kick off. Anthony Lorefice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Marina Romea got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Perilli. Alberigo Perilli kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Frank Di Michele made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Anthony Lorefice sent off a good shot on target. Armin Picca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Campoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Capaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armin Picca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Marina Romea. Angelo Di Blasio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armin Picca. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Castellanza players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marina Romea.
