In the 2ndth minute of the game Damiano Di Vito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pieve Vecchia AFC's Arrigo Cavaliere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ermanno Raniolo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Pieve Vecchia AFC's Arrigo Cavaliere got control of the ball when Damiano Di Vito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessandro Bertolini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Pieve Vecchia AFC's goalkeeper Arrigo Cavaliere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Altobelli. Angelo De Bonis kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Augusto Altobelli fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caionvica's protests and gave Augusto Altobelli a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Altobelli kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Angelo Ciapponi fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caionvica's protests and gave Angelo Ciapponi a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Caionvica got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Ciapponi. After 31 minutes of play, Pieve Vecchia AFC's Ermanno Raniolo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesare Cesaroni was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute Damiano Di Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Cavaliere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damiano Di Vito made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Augusto Altobelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pieve Vecchia AFC's Arrigo Cavaliere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Raniolo in the 55th minute of play forced Caionvica's goalkeeper Cesare Cesaroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermanno Raniolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cesare Cesaroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Pieve Vecchia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Valeriani to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Caionvica's Angelo Ciapponi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arrigo Cavaliere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Di Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Caionvica's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Raniolo came free, but Cesare Cesaroni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermanno Di Giandomenico hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damiano Di Vito in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arrigo Cavaliere saved Pieve Vecchia AFC from getting behind. Ermanno Raniolo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cesare Cesaroni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pieve Vecchia AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Raniolo in the 92nd minute of play forced Caionvica's goalkeeper Cesare Cesaroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alessandro Bertolini came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Pieve Vecchia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Bertolini couldn't finish the play. Ermanno Raniolo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cesare Cesaroni came out and tried to block the shot, but Ermanno Raniolo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 96th minute. Pieve Vecchia AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
